Converting to the church of Christ from the Baptist faith, Minister Clark readily adhered
to the Gospel, introduced to him by his beloved aunt, Sis. Louise Sykes.
Blessed to have been a member of West End for over 33 years, he faithfully served the
congregation in almost every area of the work of the church. He served as, one of the
church’s assisting ministers, teacher of the New Converts, College, Adult, Seniors, and
Hermeneutics classes and as guest on the church’s radio program, “Speaking As the
Oracles of God,” hosted by Bro. Darnell Bender.
Paralleling his service to West End , Minister Clark faithfully served as “Bible Call”
teacher, a ministry sponsored by collective churches of Christ, and as guest Evangelist
and conference speaker throughout the state of Georgia and around the country.
Answering the call to become Senior Minister of the historic, East Point church of Christ
in East Point, Georgia, minister Clark joined the succession of faithful men of God who
preceded him as Ministering Evangelist of this historic church. He preached his first
sermon as the church’s new minister, March 15, 2015.
Presently, Minister Clark, having left his ministry at East Point church of Christ, March
15, 2020, established his “new” ministry…The Pinnacle church of Christ, March 22,
2020, to provided uninterrupted service to faithful members of the Body of Christ, post-
Covid-19. (An epidemic closing church doors).
To date, his new ministry continues to feed the Lord’s faithful saints because of his
commitment to obey the same charges given II Timothy 4:1-5:
“I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the
quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; 2 Preach the word; be instant in
season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For
the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts
shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away
their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 5 But watch thou in all things,
endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.”
